WaterWetter = Hy-per Lube Super Coolant?

Dear Diesel Demons:

I went to my local Pep Boys (tried NAPA first as I can't stand my local Pep Boys) seeking WaterWetter by Red Line: they didn't have it but I DID find a product called Super Coolant by Hy-per Lube. It's the same concept (says it'll lower the running temperature of your car 6 - 8 degrees) and I wanted to use it because if I'm running the A/C in my '83 300D on a hot day my temp climbs quickly. Some questions:

Anyone know a reason why I shouldn't use this stuff or it's not the equivalent of WaterWetter?

If my car doesn't run hot normally is adding this stuff a bad idea?

All best,

Diesel Fitter

I have used the Redline brand on a few cars and they seemed to run a bit cooler. Using no more than say 30% antifreeze mix also helps.
