'84 300D on ebay

Anyone know anything about this car?

I was thinking of getting it as a parts car.

Its a little far for me to go for a parts car actually.. I think I'll look for something closer.

But you thought about it, didn't you? Aieeee, life in Tally!

Seriously, could you offer some specifics for what might interest you as a parts car? I'm looking for a (non-parts) car, but have run across parts cars several times during my search.

I even called a few weeks ago to ask about a sort of beat looking SD that I'd seen parked at Florida Auto (N. Monroe) for a number of weeks, just to see what the story was. During that time, it looked as though it had one window open or missing, so I thought "parts car". The answer I got when I called was that someone was supposedly buying it to fix it up... but the car still seems to be there, weeks later. Depending on the parts you're after, it might be worth a call - maybe something fell through.

Let see.. parts car..

Mostly something that has a non-seized engine.. somewhat workable tranny.. resonable interior.. body I'm not all that concerned about.

Mostly having pipe dreams about rebuilding an engine and possibly a tranny but I don't want to take a car out of comission.

Perhaps I should be looking for that creampuff and turn one of my existing ones into a parts car

Or maybe I could find a nice '85 300CD that someone will trade me for my 2000 Mazda B3000.
