190D and OVP Relay?

Is there a OVP Relay on a 1984 190d?

Looked behind the battery but only 2 relays there, one the Klima and another a kickdown relay. No empty slot in that area.

A Cd-manual shows a spot in the fuse box for one, but there is just a empty spot there. This is the way I recieved the car a couple weeks ago.

To add to my confusion, when I looked up the part on GermanStar, they list 2 for the different chassis types. Mine is a 201.122. they list a OVP relay for a 201.122 for it says "201.122 from 1985"? they only made the 201.122 in 1984 and 1985?

Very confused and any help is greatly appreciated.

Some history on the 190D,

The 190D 2.2 (201.122) was only made for the 1984-1985 model years, it was replaced by the 190D 2.5 (201.126) 1986-1989 and for 1987 there was the 190D 2.5 turbo (201.128)

The '84 190D did NOT have an overvoltage protection relay.

Do you know if the 1989 190D has a OVP and if so where is it? I have looked everywhere and don't see it. I also have a 87 300SDL and it is easy to see/find on that model. Does the 190 OVP RELAY LOOK THE SAME AS A 300SDL RELAY?

'89 does - located behind the battery hidden by that piece of thin, black plastic that can be pulled up and out.

Replaced this on my w201 when I first bought it, classic symptoms - dash lights stayed on, crappy idling/stalling on start up. Replacing the relay did the trick.
