I agree w/Zeitgeist. That seems like way too much. I paid $3250 for mine (170k miles and original head), but it needed an IP, some body work, and some AC work. I figure I'm into it for ~$6500 and I know exactly what it needs and doesn't.

If I knew that that car only needed general maintenance and was in excellent condition I may consider it, but still...

FWIW, it took me 8 months to find mine
