Hey all, got a A/C question. Having the R-4 compressor replaced (new one) and noticed there is oil on the steering column boot, which is right under the Expansion valve. Looks like the black hose (suction line)that bolts up to the valve. Question, should this be the leaking culprit, is this a dealer item or is one available after market somewhere else? Anyone ever have to replace one? Checked by hand no oil leaks are readily aparrent. Will get a detector next to locate, just thinking outload that this hose may be the culprit.
Side note: The new R-4 compressor appears to have a kit w/ many washers to asapt to the lines, think a adapter block is missing to make up a solid fit, will call Performance Products MON. in the A.M.

Thanks for the info, Leon H
