1995 E300D won't shut off
OK, I know there has been a lot of discussion about vacuum leaks and the shut off valve when a diesel won't shut off. But I think I have an unusual circumstance with my 1995 E300D. It won't shut off after I had a new drive belt installed, an expansion valve for the AC and new front and rear brakes. My question is this just a coincidence or could the mechanic have inadvertently disconnected something? When the shut off valve on my 1980 240D died it was a gradual thing, but the E300D started doing this while the mechanic had it. What do you experts think? Also, does anyone know where the shut off valve is located on a 1995 E300D?

Hmmm
The mechanic inadvertently disconnected something or broke a vacuum line.
