air compressor oil

I have not been able to find the bottle of oil I bought many years ago specifically for automotive A/C. However, I have a bottle of air compresor oil which says it is mineral oil with a viscosity of 301 Saybolt. It looks identical in size and shape to the other bottle, and I know I'm really asking for it, but is there any chance I can use this oil in my R4 compressor?
