Wrong. Getting the vehicle into top shape at stock specs is what should be done first. Otherwise you won't know if the upgrades are working effectively.

The flanges are for engines that may or may not even be in a Benz w123, could be for stuff like 4btswaps.com type conversions. my 85 is too nice to do stuff that could not be put back stock easily. I was mentioning to Jobsin that it would be a good idea to do ones for the 145-50 hp crowd who might bolt on a sprinter turbo. and another for the guys with a few screws loose..
I got several extra motors-ones headed for a late 30's rod style pickup -There a cool Willis FWD pickup here with a benz TD. One of my motors can be a lab rat.
