Drawing a little knowledge from the 12v cummins world yes the over flow valve works making the spring stronger. I would add that if you modify an air dog fass or the like lift pump you can set the psi of feed to w.e you'd like simply by changing the spring in the bypass of the pump. P7100s like 45 psi plus 60 is better. Just my .02 you will also have 2 huge fuel filters on water separate the other a 2 micron folter
