I can't wait

The day has been taken off from work, I can't wait.

I'll have to wax up the W115 beforehand. Hopefully I'll have the oldest diesel Benz there Unless someone can bring down a Ponton/Heckflosse, which I'd love to see!

Holson, I am extending this really generous offer to you: I'll let you drive the 300D if you let me drive the CLK55 Alright, a ride is all I ask. I haven't really experienced recent MB V8 power, nevermind AMG!

I'll be there with my friend Ray who loves checking out the vintage Benzes. Too bad he drives a Saturn

Whats the count right now?

Unfortunately - My wife is now disabled. It is much harder for her to get around in the Burb compared to the SDL. I am combining a business trip to Mystic on Friday with the GTG. Two days without the SDL might not cut it. Unfortunately, the SDL may not be long for this world - for us as owners. Just a lot of 'Life Changes' going on around the house.

Hmm

Jurypower, its not going to be in Bristol, but in Exter RI at a members house. Directions are also posted.

RI is a small state, you could walk anywhere if you really wanted to

You better make the drive to Exeter!

Hope to make it...

I am making plans to come up with my SDL. If I make it I would like to pull the dash board to make a cutout for a thermocouple meter I want to install (anybody have a jigsaw they can bring?).

Once we get a little closer to the date, I will try to get in touch with Hatterasguy to see about a convoy

Yes!!

I am looking forward to this event a lot...there are a lot of old Benz enthusiasts in my area..one guy with an old 280SL, W113, and a friend of mine with 2 300D's and a 300SD.

Should I spread the word to any of these guys, or is the more not the merrier?
