Anybody want to GTG in Phoenix Arizona?
I keep re-posting this message and have gotten a few replies! Arizona has some really nice examples of older Mercedes Benz's and I know at one time or another, we all must use this board!! It would be really nice to meet somewhere for eats and to show our cars as well as share our knowledge of mechanics, service, parts, best salvage yards, fun runs on weekends to local places, etc! There is a fellow called "Nur-spec" who contributes very regularly on www.benzword.com mostly in the W126 section on that forum and lives in Phoenix and has collected a bunch of Mercedes enthusaiasts like him and is working on a gtg in the Phoenix- or Scottsdale area.....
They have buckets of knowledge and know the best wrecking yards in the area for the older Mercedes cars, there was one thread with photos but I can't remember wherre it was
