Questions?

What is the total head count so far?

Beverages?
I assume no alcohol allowed in the park.

Snacks?

Food?

Starting time/Ending time for the GTG?

Starting time? I guess as soon as you can get there... I will be there EARLY to reserve us a spot.... maybe and official start time of 10:30 am? End around 5pm?

No alcohol...... Sorry....

All food, snacks, etc, are on a "every man for himself" basis!

Head count? No idea.... Probably around 12 or so I'd guess..... maybe a certain moderator could make this a forum-wide announcement!

Also, I'm thinking that a "convoy" might be fun.... Say around 2pm we all leave the park with a few people to hold our spot and parade down mainstreet in a long line..

Anybody know if there'll be any legal implications in doing this if we all behave ourselves and don't cause traffic problems?

Classic car clubs do this all across America, as long as you don't block traffic it is OK...

Ok, new info:

We can bring parts to trade with us, BUT, no selling... In order to sell stuff, you've got to buy a permit from the police department........ Guess it's "trading only".........

A parade of Mercs in southern Michigan....in love it. However, in all seriousness with the state of the auto industry in Michigan could this be risky? It might seem to some like salt in a wound.

I doubt it...... Most people like to see old cars out and about, even from brands they otherwise hate.........

What Wheels are you going to bring?

Well, I can only drive one car, but which one will it be.....
1999 E300
1985 300D ('Calli' version)
1985 300D ('Federal' version, but will probably not be ready)
1981 300D
The E300 is my wife's car, but she may want the 1981 300D for that weekend.

What Merc are you planning to bring?
I believe that my friend and his wife are planning to bring their 1959 190 and 1967 250SE(I love this car, no I WANT this car).

I'll be driving my only MB, the 84.... (I just got done washing, claying, and waxing it yesterday.... It's wicked-sweet, especially for a wrecked car!! )

Cant you get the wifey convinced to come? Maybe you and she could make trips back and forth shuttling your cars to the park, then decide which one to parade with later!

Hey though, is that E300 a Diesel? It'd be sweet to have a turbo'd 606 vehicle there!!
