Fall Pacific NW Get Together

Anybody interested in one more get together before the rains set in?

Vote for one of my ideas or feel free to suggest one of your own.

The Leavenworth Oktoberfest runs both the weekend of October 6th and the weekend of the 13th. http://www.leavenworthoktoberfest.com/

Damn,

I'd love to go but I'm going to have to miss this one . In October I have two birthdays to attend, my little brother is graduating from the police academy, and hockey season just starts.

From now on I declare mid September September Fest for Mercedes owners. Traditions include doing doughnuts (both eating and the driving type), burning hydrocarbons, and italian tune ups.

I would, but I'm at school in New York, and I'm not 21...so shoot

I'd really like to go though. The one last March in the Gorge was a blast. Hopefully it'll become an annual event around that same weekend.

Organize a gtg sometime during Thanksgiving week and I'll be there. Same goes for most of January.

My Merc isn't ready for the road, and showing up to a get together in a Kia would just seem wrong. You know what I mean? After I've worked the bugs out of the ol' monster I'd be up for it, but that'll be next year at best.

If you want to come, you're welcome to ride with me. I doubt any of my family will want to join me so I'll have plenty of room.

Mine won't be ready either and my 230CE's front brakes aren't up for any long drives yet.
BTW the Leavenworth Oktoberfest is way over-rated. The one in Mt. Angel is 100 times better.

Well one of mine has a huge whole cut in the floor. Maybe we should wait for spring...

I'd go for a spring GTG. The weather seems to be going downhill fast lately. I'm expecting my first frost tonight.

If it's still to come, I'd be interested in possibly joining in, if only to take a look at other's cars!

I'm still having fun wrenching on it, tonight the new shutoff valve goes in, as well as a new ignition lock assembly. Mine died when the valve decided that the ignition switch needed to be oiled, thoroughly...

It seems that the preference is for the 6th. So far I have 5 people (including myself) interested.

Man, if Procrastination wasn't my middle name I would love to meet up with you, like I had planned to at the last 3 Pacific NW get-togethers. At least I have new tires, and my 240D is running strong, but I still need to get that tie rod replaced and wiper linkage fixed (have had no luck fixing it myself) - kind of silly to not have functioning wipers when you live in Seattle. Also wonder how a really long drive will be with my sagging seats and non-functioning radio. At least I have new Bilsteins though.
I could probably still go though if the weather isn't too nasty and the drive isn't too far. Long Beach sounds awfully awfully tempting as it's so beautiful out there. Leavenworth, not so much....although it would be fun to show up around Oktoberfest with a bunch of others in older German cars.
