I thought puff adders lived in Africa or somewhere. I didn't thinnk they were indigenous to NC. When I was growing up, I saw plenty of water moccasins, copperheads, avarious and sundry other snakes, but never heard of there being anything like a puff adder there.

I'm out here at Cape Hatteras - about 3 hours from Rocky Mount. Not many MB's out here on the Outer Banks, so would love to chat with some of y'all in person.

Wasn't there a thread here not too long ago about a GTG somewhere in NC?

I'm in Greensboro - open and available for a GTG.

I just completed a 2 week, 2874 mile 'mental therapy - get away from reality' road trip in my 85 300SD...been home 2 days and I'm ready to go again! So Rocky Mount, or the 'Rocky Mountains' works for me - just tell me when and where!

And PS...This was my first 'road trip' since buying my 126 last October - An amazing road machine! Trip average mpg was 25.8 - with lots of highway miles at a steady full blow - oil level only dropped a little less than a quart.

I'm going to school in Boone, live in Winston-Salem/Lexington/Arcadia/Welcome/Midway (pick whichever of those you've ever heard of and I'm within a stone's throw) and will drive to a GTG that's closer than the coast itself with little provocation, if I'm free.

A little farther West

I'm over in Mooresville, NASCAR land. I have a buddy in Zebulon that I go play auto repair with pretty often. That's just down the road from Rocky Mount.

Exactly where?

Did anyone actually offer up a meeting place just yet? I have 6 acres in Middlesex, but I am not sure how my wife would like me having a bunch of people showing up for a get together! lol

Orlando
