Here's the start of the list for this year's GTG.

tbomachines - 1982 300SD
Johnhef - 1987 300D
Dee8go - 1984 300TD
freesoul - 1995 E300D
rafi - Car ??
Fulcrum525 - 1991 350SDL
okyoureabeast - Car ??
BodhiBenz1987 - Car ??
Squabble - 1983 300D
Pizzachef & GF - Car ??
ImBroke - Car ??
Rashakor - Car ??

Can I assume that Paul, Powerpig, Mrs. Powerpig, and Mistress will be coming as well?
rafi - If no rain then 74 240D else 82 240D
the 82 has the same radio head as yours with the USB in the fader.
the 74 rear window leaks water so I can only drive it when there is no rain or possible rain. I will not be bringing anyone. Is there a sign-up for what stuff to bring ?

We can add that to the list too I guess.

I'll provide burgers, sausages, wings, portobello mushrooms, yellow zucchini and onions. For beverages ... a bottle of Toasted Head Merlot for Mistress, a few selections of single malt scotch and 2 cases of home brew beer. I'll also have cases of diet Dr. Pepper, gingerale, 7up and Coke.

Let me know if you want to bring anything and we'll add it to the list so we don't end up with 30 pounds of potato salad.

It looks like we're around 20 people so far. We can handle more without a problem.

That's great! I'm glad I'm not the only one here with a "fair weather car." The Dee8gonator is not water tight yet.

Chad -

I'll probably be in my 300CE. If not, then the 124 E500. I'll also try to bring some Ozzy.

Mark

I'll be bringing the 87 300D. I have a few small items to take care of on it, mostly just to make it pretty. If something goes amiss with it, I'll try to take the 78 240D, if what's left of it still constitutes a car at that point. Right now the bumper's in the dining room, the headlights are on the kitchen table, the cabin area is filled with about 300 sandpaper scraps and paper towels, plus various bolts, the left fender is partially fiberglass, putty, more putty and filler and the right fender looks like I painted it using a trebuchet instead of a paint gun.

So to sum up: I will be bringing the non-hellacious car, the 300D.

Let me know if there's any food/drink I should bring. ALSO, I have a lot of bits and pieces of a 1988 300E in my garage ... I'll post a list on the parts forum but if you want something I'll bring it.

The gas mileage was eating me up, so I traded it for the focus.

I want to go, I'll have to see.

This September is going to be a tough month for me. With school plus I'll be in the middle of building a house.

OK, I got the green light to come up. But... As always, my family's fragile health may mean that I have to cancel out, even to the point of turning around and heading back at any point in the trip.

Keep fingers crossed...

Oh, and I'll be bringing the E-Klasse.

So owning a MOG isn't as thrilling as it seems? What is the reason? Fuel economy, comfort, noise?
