S Cal Mercedesshop- there's a couple of GTG's this weekend- hope you can come out and meet and greet N Cal Cannon Baller's:

1) SATURDAY 6/29/2002 (1pm): In and Out in Westminister, CA
dir: 405 freeway exit Springdale South, 1st light left, over the freeway on the right is In and Out. N Cal Cannon Baller's will be meeting Mark Cummins there and proceeding to a Pizza joint by the beach (approx 5 miles away).

2) SUNDAY 6/30/2002 (8am-1pm): Autowerks Express Annual Picnic (see details at autowerksexpress.com and benzsport.com/ events)

...would be great to meet some of the S Cal mercedesshop on our trip down from N Cal.

I'll be at the Autowerks BBQ Sunday Morning! Looking forward to meeting you and other Mercedesshop members. Hope others can make it.

By the way I might have some free time on Saturday, let me know what your plans are, maybe we can go for a drive or have a detail session in preparation for Sunday.

heheh I'm sure your car will be spotless Placo.

I should be there too, hopefully with my car, though my dad may come with and make us bring the sl.

I want to bring my car down, it could use a good freeway run for an extended period.

But I'm afrid it wont be clean, the road will give it that driven in look.

I figure I'll leave early enough to get there at around 9:00 am but knowing my family, we'll be there in what everyone calls, Asherson Time.

Bring your car, don't worry about the road grime. Bring a towel since I only have one decent one and I'll bring a spray bottle and duster for you to use.

Your car should be there, it looks great and the mods will be appreciated.

Email me your cell number and I'll send mine, this way I can find you when you arrive late!

Great to meet, greet, and hang with the mercedesshop guys! (Afshin, Alon, Suginami, and Ernesto)

Sorry Afshin- didn't get your invite to hang out on Sat in time (I was off line since Wednesday day)

Eurotuner show/track/driving school event is at Willow Springs in September. I may get a chance to head there!

Hi Fulgence, Ernesto, Alon, Paul:

Autowerks was a blast. We need to do that much more often!

Fulgence your car is absolutely amazing, I have to say the most perfect E500 I've seen to date.

For anyone else reading this post the Autowerks event was held in San Diego last Sunday. It was an all German car show but the main attractions were the Benzes and Beemers. Many Benzsport members were there showing off some beautiful cars. A few of us Mercedesshop members also made it and I have to say what a great time.

I hope you guys were able to take a few pictures to post for everyone to see. The cars ranged from the new C32 to a late eighties Euro 100% AMG 500SEL.

Looking forward to some pics and the next event!
