My vote is for Riverside Park, in Hartford Conn. Now that I have a navigator (my friend scott down the road is from CT, and loves the diesels ) I'll be set. Any Rhode Islanders/Massachusetts people interested in convoying down from a central location?

It is a mall in Providence Rhode Island. There is a parkign garage, but you must pay to go inside the garage. So I don't know exactly where we would be meeting up. If I had a cellular phone it would be so much easier, I could call you on the road etc. I am thinking of places in Providence we could meet that wouldn't be hard to get to...How about a local supermarket, or a well known Providence theater or church?

There is a Armenian church you can see from the highway, we could convoy up from there, I could get mapquest directions from there.

I believe Holson, Myself, RWThomas, Spo123, and some others in the area could meet here at a certain time and then convoy out. In a nice 6 car MB convoy traveling at 70 MPH. Hehe.

What you guys think of meeting at this church and convoying down? Are we still up for Riverside?

I just went to Riverside this morning. The water is low again so the park is actually useable. The baseball field was a little squishy though. By May the place should be spic-n-span.

I have no cell phone. But, we should meet at the place. I have a set of 2 way radios good for 3 miles. I can give you one and we can communicate in vehicle so we don't miss exits or go the wrong way etc.
