Mike with Meguiar's has offered to host another Workshop Day for MercedesShop.com members.

He puts on a nice event, with a nice presentation talking about Meguiar's and their products.

He takes us into the detailing bay, and explains how to use the products, operate a buffer, etc.

He will even look at your paint and offer suggestions.

Btw I Spoke to Mike Last Sat In Irvine at a Benz/Bmw gtg he said That They (Meguiars) Have several NEW products due out soon!

Doh, I must have missed this thread! I just put a similar post in the detailing forum and a few dates that I thought would work.

I guess we can keep both up for now and find out which dates are preferred.

Paul, Mike has also offered a second Saturday if enough members are interested. When I spoke to him he wanted to keep the group size under 15 so we may need to split it up. If MBCA ever gets there act together and sends me my sign up info I might be able to include them. It's been over a month since they recieved my payment.

The event is still on, but we need to pick a date.

I think Sep. 6 is too soon.

I vote for Sep. 27, Oct 4, or Oct 18.

I'd like for the others on this thread to post their preference, and we'll do it on the day that most of us can attend.

I vote October 18th.

Just a note, the Newport Beach German Sports Car Show is on October 4th and the Newport Beach Concours is on October 5th. The Palos Verdes Concours is on September 14th. We might have better turnout by avoiding these weekends and if Meguiars is involved with either event they may be strapped for time.
