The SLK350 is an awesome car, I'm Still waiting for the SLK55 though .

The only things I don't like............
1) the dashboard material
2) Position of the cupholder above the center vents
3) the magnesium seat frames which must be replaced if scratched (they can corrode if the coating is scratched through....same as the 722.9 housing)
4) The crappy aerial mast

Yeah, I think the aerial looks pretty bad.

I guess the idea with the cupholders is that you could keep your beverages hot/cold? - but I found it awkward too...

I like:

The styling - I just can't get enough of it. It looks soo damn good!

Engine/exhaust sound - smooth at idle but it sounds amazing when the throttle's opened up.

Gotta love the clever hardtop

Air scarf is awesome!

awesome handling, awesome brakes, decent ride

and best of all.... that feel good factor! It's got a lot!

I am still wondering just what the SLK55 is like to drive

Mercedes is really coming out with some nice cars! I can't wait to see a CLS500 on the roads!

Still a hair-dresser's car. The 'air scarf' proves this.

I think the SLK55 will drive alot better than the C55.
The C55 was re-engineered to accept the V8 while the SLK was designed to take it from the start.

I still prefer the C32 over the C55.......It's more balanced in corners.

I'm just waiting till we see some SLK55's with supercharger kit That'd be a seriously quick car.........wonder if the 722.9 would hold up though?

Interesting, I've heard the opposite - the C55 handles much better than the C32... SLK55 is sick!!
