Is the Morris Minor the car that has now evolved into the Mini Cooper? I can't remember what the Morris Minor looked like, but I'm thinking that it was around in the sixties with a different name on it.

My father owns a AMG 1000SEL -85.
Really cool old car... and it is in mint condition. I have pics if you don't believe me!
The car is totally white... everywhere. "pearl" white interiour with recaro seats, leather everywhere, even on the inside roof and dashboard. all extras including an extra mirror for the bodyguard It has an getrag "dogleg" gearbox. The engine is rebuilt by AMG with double cams!! so from 16valve to 32-valves! The car was bought by an saudi-arabian sheik. The bill from AMG shows extras for 100000 DM (approx. 50000 euros!) The car itself from mercedes costed the same... 100000DM. So the total price of 200000DM.. almost 100000euros! in 1985!!!

You got any pictures of it. I'd love to see that! It sounds twice as good as a 500SEL.

I think the biggest change is the engine... that is some work that AMG have done with changing from single to double cam tech! you can see how much wider they are..
