Rear Fog Lamp(s) 2002 203

Does anyone know if there is a way to have both L&R Rear fog lamps light? Is only having the L side how they do it in the father land?

I heard that in Europe only (1) lamp is required to illuminate. BMW's do both. Benz only does what is required. I was told in another forum to run a wire to your other light and tap in. Should work? Havn't got to it yet on my '96 C36 AMG. The cops & most people think I've got a messed up light or something?

i think only one light is used so that in exceptionally foggy conditions, one is ab;e to tell which side of the car they are seeing. all euopean cars that i have seen invariably have the fog light on the driver's side. i would thing that having both illuminated in the fog might cause some confusion as to whether they are fog lights or brake lights.

then again, most north americans have no idea that rear fog lights exist so it's sort of a moot point.

you are only supposed to put on one fog light, the drivers side foglight, so if you have left hand drive then the left rear fog light is where its at. if you put more, people will think you have your brakes on.
