how does this thing work?


did you break a glow plug off in the head of an om617? Thats unheard of.

Forgot to attach the picture to explain the theory.

#1. Start unscrewing the glow plug.
#2. Pause when roughly one third of the threads are exposed.
#3. Capture the threads with the hinged nut.
#4. Hold the nut with a wrench.
#5. Continue unscrewing the glow plug.

The extra threads allow you to pull the stubborn (carbon loaded) electrode tip out of the cylinder head with minimal additional effort...
