We have to sell this car ASAP. My son, who's car this WAS, has converted to a gasoline vehicle and his mother wanted him to have a "more dependable" vehicle. He no longer drives this one(which is diesel) and now we have too many vehicles. It has 311,000 miles on it. No cruise control(no amp/computer nor accuator). The A/C(R134A refridgerant) was working just last month but the belt broke and he didn't want me to fix it since he was going to get rid of it anyways. Transmission shifts perfectly but it does hesitate for a second going into reverse. No rips or tears in the seats or carpeting or headliner and one area where previous owners dog chewed the dash(see pic). Strong running engine, one rust spot on sunroof(which does operate flawlessly). The central locking was disabled from previous owner because of shut-down problems so I believe there is at least one leaky vacuum pod in the doors/gas flap/ or trunk. The climate control works except for the center venting on cooling.

just to let you all know, it is still for sale. I've fixed the A/C problem now and I am in the process of detailing it and possibly doing some of the body work(sunroof). I'll post an update after it is detailed completely and if I don't sell it locally.

Just to let everybody know, this car is still available but will be taken off the road this month due to tags and insurance being taken off of it. I will have it parked in my back yard from now on and just be piddling with it as time permits. It is a strong running car and I hope someone wants it that will take care of it. It is an excellent canidate for WVO/SVO experiments also.

Hi,
I am looking for a dependable turbodiesel for my commute from Chester, SC to Charlotte everyday. I drive 800+ miles a week and my little 1991 190E 2.3 would be best preserved by my using a diesel for this drive.
I am very interested in this car. I hope to use biodiesel if I can find it for sale around here.
Would it be possible for me to give you a deposit and get the car when I have it paid off? I am an electrician working 46-56 hours a week at UNCC Charlotte.
