Thumbs up 1985 300D For Sale in So Cal. - No rust!

Over $7000 in receipts in the last year, including:
1. Rebuilt engine (new head and other parts)
2. Rebuilt Transmission
3. Rebuilt vaccume system - Including the doors and A/C vent elements
4. New starter
5. New ball joints
6. Rebuilt A/C system (New compressor and other parts.)
7. Replaced instrument pod due to leaky oil gauge
8. New brakes (rotors and pads)
9. New tires and rims from a CLK series. (205/60/16)
10. New window switches
11. New temp. control regulator
12. New am/fm/cd player and retractable antennae

This car has been my daily driver and is mechanically in excellent condition. All the windows, sunroof, climate controls and gauges work.

The interior is in very good, but not perfect, condition. Minor cracking is evident in the dash board (2-3 small cracks) and wood trim veneer. There is a small hole in the headliner over the rear passenger area, and a small hole in the seat also in the rear passenger area. (Both are small in size) Overall, its pretty good for a 20 year old car.

The paint is in good conditon overall, but there is some starring on the hood. I do not think it is the original paint, but I have no first hand knowledge either way. There is a small dent in the rear passenger door which is not very noticeable.

The odometer reads @122K but actual mileage is @220K. (When I replaced the instrument pod, the new odometer read almost exactly 98K less than the old one.)

I have attempted to mention all that I know is wrong with the car in the interest of full disclosure.

That being said, this car is in excellent shape for being 20 years old. It looks great inside and out, and drives like a dream. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country today if needed. It has been restored properly, and is very reliable.

Asking price is $5000 obo.
