1978 280E for sale (either fix or part out)
Hello!
I decided to help someone out, and list this W123 for sale here on our forum. It is a rust free 1978 280E w/ 160k miles. The current owner was given the car about 10 years ago and always wanted to work on it, but never got around to it (apparently). The car is originally from California, which might explain the lack of rust. Other than that, I don't know too much about the car yet, but I am supposed to get some pictures in the next few days for me (and you) to look at. The owner says he has $600 "into it", but figures that he get less than that for it. IOW: Make an offer! The car is located near Kansas City, Missouri. Thanks! -Larry Addtl. Info: I just found out that the owner thinks the starter needs to be replaced. He also thinks that the exhaust needs work, but he didn't say what kind of work. He says the tires will be good for a little while, but that they ought to be replaced. (I am thinking they are rather old, but that is just my two cents)
