Will trade Vintage Gibson L5 Guitar for Diesel Benz
Anyone want to drive their Benz to the Keys and trade it to me?
I actually have 2 guitars that are worth in excess of $5000 each. A 1947 L-5N and a hand crafted Kinscherff Koa. Jamie Kinscherff is a small luthier in Texas who makes some of the best guitars in the world. You can see the guitars here: http://surfpick.com/guitars I'll be putting the guitars on eBay soon, so this offer is probably only good for a week. I have over 1000 transactions on eBay, with no negative or even neutral feedback. I want a 90's Diesel in fantastic condition, that is worth in excess of $5000. If the car is deemed to be worth $4000 (say it's older ), I will accept cash and the car, in exchange for one of the guitars. If you are willing to deliver the car to the Florida Keys, I will provide a hotel room. Just thought I'd mention it, before I sell the guitars. Vintage and boutique guitars are a great investment. Collecting them is how I was able to buy my SDL ! best regards, Ra Last edited by Ra_; 11-04-2005 at 03:30 PM. |

Cool!- I have a 1930's Gibson L50. I also have a Diesel Benz. Things like this must go together! You're probably aware that the L50 was a very plain jane L5, with no in-lays, dot markers and a black finish. Mine was in real rough shape, and had non-original tuners, pickguard and tail-piece. I re-finished it in a sunburst, built a rosewood pickguard into which I embedded a Bartolini floating jazz pickup and volume control, and also put on a Fishman arch-top bridge with built in acoustic transducer. Oh yes- a brand new ebony fretboard too. I wouldn't give it up for anything.
