The reality of this; is it is a fine car, tried to get my nephews to buy it but they want Bmers, I just started one in college so my funds are sucked dry.
Can't really understand why no one wants this car

She's a beaut and I'd love to bite but I need something closer - or something that if it's far away I can afford to transport to my house. If you do decide to put it on eBay make sure to include a LOT of pics to this car!

It will be interesting to see how much she brings and if it sells, I just think to the general public big old benzs are scarely, which is a shame, they will plunk down 5G on a used car that pales in comparison.
There also is a fine 6.3 on there and it will be interesting to see if it sells.

Didn't sell on ebay. I am willing to sell to a forum member for what my reserve was. $4,900. I have spent more than that on recent maintenance!

I was afraid it would not sell, most don't know and are a bit afraid of these large S class cars. Perhaps it is not a good time to sell it. Why don't you sell those Caddies and keep the Benz

$4900 is a serious fine price, especially considering the work you have had done. I know a few others that may be interested and will talk to them tonight. One good friend has a 300D and has always loved the old S class- this is her chance!!
Hold out, it will sell, and above all if you come down to 2 grand
