1987 560sl

1987 560SL 55k miles. Great mechanical condition. Recent transmission service with M1 ATF, new monovalve, shifter bushings, Redline oil in rear diff. Newly rebuilt rear calipers, new Balo rear rotors, and Texstar pads.

The car is in good cosmetic condition. Nice soft top and interior is very nice. Small chip on drivers door, and clearcoat is slightly flaking at top of drivers door. Wheels are also typically discolored. A/C currently not working, but compressor spins freely.

$14,500

Thanks.

Mike

Great shine on that car. What do you wax it with?

I used 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. That wasn't a fresh wax either. I just did a quick wash and dry. I also use the 3M "Perfect It" line of products. You really have to keep up with Signal Red to avoid oxidization or fading.

I hate to see this car go. This is our weekend/fun car. My SUV burns too much gas, but I still need it for work and severe weather. I need to replace the SL with something more practical that I can use everyday. The SL actually fits this bill because it's so comfortable and reliable; but it would be a shame to abuse it like that. It's actually not that bad on gas either.
