Exclamation '79 230T w/ 4-speed for sale

Hello all!

My garage is full and the driveway is getting pretty hard to navigate, too!
So I've drawn straws and the 230T lost.

1979 230T (euro model 123 chassis wagon) Beige w/ brown vinyl and cloth interior, 213,000 miles, engine runs good, 4-speed manual tranny, body and interior fair, some rust.

New: Rebuilt carb shipped from England,
nitrogen spheres for rear suspension, rear brake calipers and rotors, motor mounts, rear exhaust

Needs: Lots of t-l-c , rear cv joint (?), carb. adjustments, exhaust leak

I drive this car on a regular basis to work (100 mile round trip) and it does well, but it does have an intermittent vibration and the choke is fussy. It doesn't look terrible but it is a strange color (original) and has some rust on the bottoms of the doors, tailgate, and
rear quarters. Has euro headlights. The car was imported when new (according to label on door jamb) and has U.S. gauges. No a/c, no sunroof, roll-up windows.

I would like to get $950 out of it or ?
Please e-mail for specifics

Thanks! Klaus

hello,

I took a few pictures this morning of the 230,
but since I am still living in the dark ages they were taken with a Polaroid camera. The rain and snow don't help, either, but you can get the general idea. The color is a mix between beige and butterscotch. I do not know the proper Mercedes name for it.
