Well.....I'm still waiting to hear back, but I think it's going to get partially restored with a different engine & transmission ---- it will look like a ponton, but won't be one under the hood.

Tomorrow is the last day of the shop ---- I still have this. It would be terrible to send it across the scales or have someone steal it from the closed shop lot.

Does anyone have any interest? I have a car hauler trailer and could move it for the appropriate compensation.


EDIT: Okay, it looks like the previous pending deal is going thru...........yeah.

Somebody let daw give you this car and pay him to deliver it!!! It's been a long time......

Oh, good grief. I thought the deal was already done. I can't believe it took this long. Glad somebody is going to make use of it.

Me too.....but I never heard back from the guy.....and he's never said for me to bring my car to him. So, today, I get a call from the shop guy......and he wants to know if I want him to load BOTH the Ponton and the w123 body I have there onto my 18 foot trailer. He asks me which one I want on top. The forklift is being moved. Tomorrow is his last day with paid rent.

I received a deposit on the car this morning and delivered. The buyer has 2 months to pay the balance. I kept the title until paid in full. I'm hoping I don't take it back.

I can't close the thread --- does a moderator have to do that now????
