Runs & drives, BUT, needs an alignment-and possibly new guide-rods. Has NO power until wamed up for 10 min, then its fine. Compression is over 400 on all 5, and it fires up on the first spin. See thread in Diesel Discussion titled, "1983 300SD diagnosis help. Low power. Think you know?" for details on it. I drove it for 3 months just letting it warm up first. This engine is too strong to crush it, but someone complained, and it HAS to go.
