The car is an original matching numbers car. One of last cars produced. Chassis #109-0018-12-005315, engine# 100-981-12-00-005512. Two owners only. We have owned the car since the late 80’s. The air bags were just replaced. The car was repainted the original Anthracite grey Glassurit about 10 years ago and is still in very good condition. Seats were recovered also about 10 years ago in factory leather from autos International. The chassis has no rust and has not been patched. It has always been in San Antonio no snow no salt on roads.No sunroof but it has working A/C.
Engine had valves redone and new chain tensioners and ramps replaced about 15,000 miles ago. Injection pump and injectors were rebuilt at same time. Engine is still in excellent shape and does not smoke or blow oil. Suspension takes several days to go down. Car has original manuals, and tools. Car has Mercedes electronic distributor conversion so no points, original distributor will go with car. Stainless steel exhaust and muffler.
Everything is working. Car has only been run with Mobil 1 20-50w oil since we bought it. Mercedes LSD oil in rear end. All in all this is a very good original car that has been used and very well maintained with parts replaced as has been necessary over the years.
