I have an '87 SDL that is too nice to part out.

Its rust free as far as I can tell, the bumpers are in good shape & the paint looks good, all the panels look straight the interior is ok, a couple of things here and there, nothing major.

It runs & drives, but needs an exhaust, plus the car is slowww.... Either the turbo is toast or the wastegate is frozen.

I have never seen any S class with tex. Cloth, but no tex. Interesting if true.

Also not that unusual to see S Class that were delivered with leather seats later reupholstered into vinyl because the leather wasn't maintained and wore down or split all over (esp. in the sunshine states).

Seen a number like that on the 'Bay.
