FS: 1984 MB 300D Turbo
My 300D is for sale...here's the lowdown.
It's a 1984 turbo sedan. 210k miles on the chassis. I replaced the engine with a rebuilt unit (that I put together) at 200k miles (due to previous owner running it out of oil). The car runs and drives very well. Has lots of power. Transmission has an unknown amount of miles but works very well. Body is in good shape with only one small dent in the front right fender. The paint is original and in great shape, especially for being 27 years old. The car was originally from California and has spent most of its life in Oregon. That means ZERO rust...absolutely none. The interior is complete. Seats are a bit squishy (like most old 123s). All windows, lights, climate control works. Sunroof doesn't (I think it's a switch, as all of the mechanism is intact and looks good). Air conditioning compressor isn't installed, but is included with the vehicle (along with all of the associated lines). All glass is original and un-cracked. The car starts on the first glow, first crank down to 20*. Gets around 22-23 mpg in town and 25-26 on the freeway. I'm thinking that number will go up as the engine breaks in more. Overall, this is a solid running, driving 300D. It hasn't ever let me down and is always the reliable back up car. I am only selling it because I don't have the space for 3 cars. Car is in Salem, Oregon. $2800 obo I would much prefer it to go to an MB enthusiast on this forum...so gimme a call! Nick 503 932 9622 or flatfours@gmail.com ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
