While i was away in Texas last week not buying a car,
my friend dropped off his 1987 420 SEL for me to sell.

Car is manila beige with a brown interior.
His dad bought the car a from a family
member who bought it from a local MB dealership in Florida.
My friend inherited it when his dad passed some 8 years ago.

He does not want to see it go and spent a lot of
time and money keeping it up to snuff as his DD over much of the time he owned it.
over the past two years the car has developed an
intermittent stalling issue which has left him sitting
a couple times and finally his wife prevailed upon him to let it go.

i will be looking in to the stalling issue as time permits
but it runs great and drives well every time i have it! go figure...
i will get pics of the interior up tomorrow

Good:
122k orig miles
no rust
better than average interior
starts runs and drives
clear Pa. title

Not as Good:
paint has chalked but looks like a good polishing will bring it back
driver seat has a tear in the fabric
only has valet key-keys available from MB
last inspected 2012
intermittent stalling issue i can't get it to do

Hey Hog - does the V8 have the voltage regulator behind the alternator like the 300SE? Had the same symptoms. Hmmmm I better come pay a visit.
