I've seen that car before.. Note the mismatched tires. Three different types. Sheesh. I'd give about 2500 for it. I see the bidding is way higher than that already. Someone will probably get stuck.

Sorry Joe that car is a pig, the kicker here is you can get a cleaner diesel W124 right on this site for about what that pig is going for.


Their is a nice 1995 listed not to far down the page right now. I can assure you their is nothing this 86 did new that the 1995 won't do better.

I feel bad for the sucker who bought this car! Not a $4300.00 car.
It doesn't even look all euro to me. It has auto climate control, just no sunroof and manual seats. I could weld metal in place of the sunroof if I wanted and take manual seats from a 260E. BAM! That's a euro car right there!

I can remember years ago every person here would have been drooling over a non-turbo manual trans model. Any of them, let alone a W124. I can remember when a MT swapped W123 was rare as hens teeth too.

I wouldn't have paid that much for it either, but I can certainly see someone that wanted a stick diesel w124 without getting filthy doing it paying that much, especially on ebay. That's kinda what ebays for, I use it at work for just that reason.

I hope the new owner ends up here.
