1981 300TD, project car, green interior, $800 in Boston

The price is dropping precipitously... I'm up for inquiries regarding parts particularly the drivetrain and green interior. The engine is extremely quite and smooth with good compression and starts with no heater down to 10 degrees.

Lots of life left, I would be sad to see it get chopped up...

Firstly, the BAD:
There is a hole in the rear floor pan that needs fixing.
Similarly, lots of the carpets are missing from doing preventative rust repairs.
Needs front pads and rotors.
Needs a new master cylinder
The back up lights don't work. (it's got a new switch just needs adjustment).
Alternator bearings are bad (have parts, no big deal).
I had to silicone the sunroof shut because I didn't want to remove the headliner to rebuilt the gutter drainage.
Some rust but mostly repaired.
Odometer is busted but it's probably got about 220,000 miles.
Rear windows don't roll down.
I'm sure there's more BAD but I have rose colored glasses.

Now, on to the GOOD:
Drives super well, you feel like a rogue king on the highway.
The car has a unique silver/green super special patina paint job and extremely rare and mostly intact green interior.
Single tank grease system, hybridized Elsbett/ PlantDrive, usable over 50 degrees, with 110 amp alternator to run electric heating elements, voltage meter and fuel temp gauge. It works very well and I've taken good care of it. I'll throw in the grease I've got left, about 50 gallons.
It has swell sheepskin seat covers.
It leaks very little oil, just enough to form a nice rust proofing coating.
Starts down to 10 degrees without the block heater and down to whatever with it.
All of this has been done in the four years since I owned it (and probably more):
New killer battery
Axles/ CV joints
Brakes all around including rear rotors and calipers
Rebuilt SLS system including new dampening pods and super heavy duty flex line (no leaks).
Rebuilt power steering pump
Replaced transmission with used
New center support bearing
Ball joints one side
Lots of rust repairs in POR/15, steel and fiberglass
Both guide rod mounts
Exhaust.
Lots of new wiring
A set of really good uniroyal tires on refinished bundt rims.
More spare parts than sticks to be shaken including a swell euro bumper and rebuildable injectors with nozzles and all sorts of other weird things.
So many other things but I'm losing track.
