I have a 91 SL300 for sale in southeast Ma.
The body was completely redone using highest quality Dupont paint. 2 stage base coat, clear coat. Wet sanded and buffed to a rich black gloss. The interior was also restored with new real leather seats. Palimino color, in beutiful condition. Seats are mint.
New pioneer stereo system with remote. Car has factory radar detector. Brand new soft top. High quality German canvas. Nice clear rear windows. Also incuded is the hard top with storage cart and cover. Car runs and drives mint. 137K Miles.

Im am not sure who is the original owner, I dont have anybooks either. I bought the car from someone in New Hampshire and the car needed some wear and tear type of work. The soft top was beat, the seats were worn and the body was dull. I restored the interior with new leather, new floor mats, stereo, speakers, etc. I replaced the soft top, and gave it a paint job. I replaced the water pump and belt tentioner, tune up etc. Tires are in very good shape. Car runs and drives very, very well. Everything was done personnally by me at home, ( except for the paint which I used a freinds paint booth.) Please email me for the VIN and maybe a carfax could reveal more info. I never tried it, Hope this helps.
