Question Looking to Chip '93 300ce

I have the 3.2l, I believe the engine code is 104.992. I was curious if there is any companies out there that make a chip or offer one. My email is denim1@gmail.com I am able to check my email much more often than I can check on here

Thanks ahead of time

I believe you can get a chip done by superchips or so, but don;t expect to get much if anything out of it unless you are able to run very high octane.

These cars are pretty much maxxed out from the factory. About the only thing to get real extra gains out of it is to have the engine rebuilt and bored to 3.6 liters by brabus, renntech, etc.

Skip the Chip

Demin:

Skip the chip and put a blower on it or go with twin turbos. Anything else will not really do that much for you. Downside is: the blower and turbo kits out there cost more than upgrading to a E400 or 500.
They cost more unless you do it yourself. I've got around $1200 in my project but did all the fabrication myself. I'll send photos if you'd like.

thanks for the reply,

can I ask about the swap? and what kind of money I am looking at to buy motor and tranny, the installation and modifing my current chassis and even the CPU for the engine swap? not to mention exhaust and the other secondary detials that come along with going to a different motor all togethor...

this would be nice to have a mercedes V8 and not pay mercedes V8 insurance, humm this is something to consider
