tried it with no noticable difference in anything at all.

Not worth the money at all.

I'm glad it has since made its way outta my car.

I used it in my '83 240D and it made the tranny run smoother, and seemed to be faster, but can't say for sure. I don't know about any other car in the world, but I definately noticed some improvement. I will consider using it again, but 50 bux for less then a gallon of fluid is seemingly high... Probably worth one try, but not sure about religious use.

At the FTC website it said "The Federal Trade Commission has filed suit in U. S. District Court seeking to halt false and misleading advertising for zMax auto additives and has asked the court to order refunds to consumers who bought the products. " I still have my reciept (coincodentally I bought something else with it and saved the reciept because I wasn't sure I was going to keep it...) and also still have the "small engine formula" bottle from the kit. I don't obviously know yet if it will happen, but hope that something comes of it.

Hi All:

You can find out about more products at www.ftc.gov and go to the search feature on the bottom.

Sometimes it will take a while for the FTC to do a thourough investigation on these products so keep checking back once in a while. They only post product companies that they have taken action against for fraudulant claims.

I hope this helps.

Aloha,
Eric

I'm sorry to see that Speedway Motorsports got involved in this scam. It degrades the reputation of NASCAR.

Zmax: Its just Overpriced Mineral Oil, that's all it is.

Zmax: Its just Overpriced Mineral Oil, that's all it is.

That fact was stated by the FTC in its 1999/2001 investigation and lawsuit of the seller.

You can read about that at the FTC website. I read the whole FTC Complaint.
