I was thinking about starting a Mercedesshop club chapter here in NY. I noticed there are many mercedesshop members in N.Y and I think that a club like this would be cool. We could go to local car shows and etc as a group, or go on road trips etc.

I am up for it. So far I know Richie and Ronie from S.I. and Brooklyn. Still didn't get a chanse to meet Agron. I think we can get a bunch of people together. There is also a guy with CLK55 in the area but I don't know if he would be intrested. If I get a chance to stay in Brooklyn this weekend, than I'll be instaling white gouges into Reachies car, may be we can get some people togeather than. I live in Brooklyn

Cool, I was hoping sometime in the spring , but if your up for it ok then. Lets try to meet up in Nassau county though so its easier for the guys out west. JCO is the guy here in MS that has a cool CLK 55. We can get a nice group of people together and go cruisin around or have lunch. I f we go to car shows, I can get this 40 by 56 inch flag with a white background, and the star with Mercedes-Benz on the bottom. If we park all together we can fly the flag, and scare the bimmwad drivers, and American Muscle car guys away.

GO MERCEDES!!!!

Hi,

Hey CaptAlex300E (I enjoy reading your posts by the way). I would love to meet up with you if I didn't live in Dallas. I wouldn't mind flying the Mercedes flag around and scaring away other drivers, especially the Bimwads or Bimmer (I call them Echoes-cause they look like Toyota echoes ie: German toyota) drivers. Mercedes are the best cars in the world, and I proudly stand behind them. I would love to put Mercedes-Benz aross the top of my windshield like on the DTM racing series (similar to the Pontiac in white letters over black on Trans Ams) or maybe I should go DTM stlye and put my wiper verticall on windshield like "MBenz." - Both would be cool, but maybe to pretentious.
Actually, I just got my car lowered and more aggressive supsension than the AMG one put on my car and can't wait to race some Bimmers. My mechanic thinks I'll be able to pull about .91/.92 on the skidpad, all thanks to a mods here and there.

Take care,
Troy

Defenately have to meet up.
My altimate dream is to get a big group from our area to go down to Georgia for the grand opening. I think a line of MB's driving down the road should look pretty impressive.
In any case lets waight a litle till it worms up and meet.

No we'll have "events" later as well. Its great, as long as we can get the commitment together it'll be great. The MSChapter NY will be all Benz's welcome, not just diesels or Hot Rods, every body is welcome. I was looking for someone to go down to Georgia with.

Welllll. MercedesShop and our physical plant MB Autowerks are both located in GA. See our link in our home page. We will be having a Grand Opening for the Shop and all are invited. The date is to be announced, and is set somewere in early June. We are going to be located in the North Atlanta area in North Gwinnett County.

A trip to the ATL is not a bad idea

I`m down for the drive in june.It would be great to see all the Tri State Benz`s come out to play. I can see it now, Maybe forty to fifty Bezes going down the Turnpike. New Jersey State Troopers, "catch us if you can".

They love us Yankees down there. Those state troopers love to see those N.Y plates the most. We however must focus o nthe immediate future. We msut think of where we can met up, and what would we do. I have one event planned for us already: There is a relatively large car show in Bellmore. Its a bout a couple hundred cars, in a large parking lot. Last year the Cammaro, guys had their own section,Stang guys had their own sections, this year we should get together. That would bring stares though. We could also organize some trips to various parts of Long Island like :Montauk Hell (I can't resist) we can book a charter on one of the montuak boats or something of that nature.
