Installed both my front and rear springs on my E420. A porta power and a lot of common sense should do the trick. Put all 4 in in about 2 hours.

BergWerks told me that HDs and Sports had the same valving, just the sport is shorter for springs obviously. They also told me that if I put H&Rs on my car with stock length Comforts (to retain a half decent ride), that that would work, and they also said that they have talked to Bilstein directly about this and they didn't have a problem with the H&R/Comfort matchup. Just thought I'd throw that in.

That's interesting. If you figure the springs are shorter, and the HD shocks are not, then that means that most of the time the shocks will be compressed by the shortened length of the spring, and that will speed up the wear on them. I think.

Indeed, the Sport are shorter, therefore made for the shorter lowering springs. PLus it helps for handling No matter what people say, whether they are right or not, I was looking for performance handling, so the sport bilstein shocks were a no brainer to go along w/ my H&R
