Hi Walden, you have to exchange the entire rear muffler to add AMG dual tips. For discount AMG check out Status Imports.

Impco/Performance Products or Precision Auto Designs has it. Impco took over Precision Products and I just received their catalog with 2 kind of exhaust tips. The one you are looking for is around $200 and the other is specifially for the CLK but is oval and single tip. Call them, it might not be on their website. http://www.************************

Why don't you buy the single AMG exhaust tip cover for your 430? It's chrome with the AMG badge and eliminates the black cover. If you look under your tip, there's a single allen screw. It's easily replaceable, the AMG is a tighter fit (use a rubber hammer to tap it on). But hey it works, I put one on a '01 CLK 430. I'll try to get the part number for you and cost tommorrow. OE part that is a simple DIY job, sure beats buying an expensive system and paying to install it.

Walden, of course it is your decision, but you said you hated the single exhaust and wanted AMG dual exhaust. That AMG single chrome exhaust cover is $200 and adds no performance to your car. The AMG exhaust is like the one found on the CLK55 and will give you a deeper exhaust note and better exhuast flow. You bought a great car, don't skimp on the upgrades.

Sorry, I totally misinterpreted your post. I thought you were looking for just tips. By all means, go out and buy the AMG muffler. Perfect for your car. I just wish one was offered for my 124.

to BZP:

What year is your 300E? There should be a performance muffler for your car!

Ive got a 91 300E. Iam aware and am not at all interested in the Remus or Supersprint systems. Although I like the supersprint headers (if they really exist for the 103). I plan to custom adapt and make a system from AMG or BRABUS components. Have a removable cat (offroad, ditch the resonator, and mandrel bending. This would surely free some ponies, and also look and sound sweet.
