Now I v finaly killed the engine
For 1 week agow when I was driving at the highway at 2bar one of the radiator water pipes came loose and I lost all water the same time I was racing with some motorcycle on the highway. I did not want to lose and I was driving withot water in the enine for while and headgasket broke.
I had no engergi or money to fix it right away so I was driving the car for 1 week with broken gasket and I got more and more water in the oil inside the engine every day but I keeped on driving at 2bar and 9000rpm the whole week before the engine began sounds strange. I have many other plans with my car and thats why I have no energi, time or money to fix the engine now so I going to fix it for the next season. So now I will have time to finish my album with my band

Roman, I don't think you'd know what to do with yourself if you ever got "finished" with that car. While that would be a disaster for most of us, I imagine it is only a minor problem for a guy with your knowledge and skills.

Ouch! That sucks! Are you using head studs? What brand of gasket did you use? I ask because being able to handle 2 bar of boost is actually pretty damn good. Unfortunately the m103 is known to get coolant in the oil from over-pressurized coolant system. Just remember, water is one of the best solvents on earth. If you see water in your oil, your in for trouble. I know a guy in the UK that makes copper head gaskets for the M103. You may want to consider that route next time around. Maybe even O-ring the combustion chambers and oil/water ports. You also should think about upgrading your water pump and radiator as well. A third of the energy you produce is heat and you've effectively tripled the output. I forget, are you running 8:1 or 8.5:1 compression?
Good Luck!
Adam

I was running 9 compression but my other engine with cp pistons I have 8,0 compression and O-rings on the block og each cyl.

But this engine I was running now I only had stock gasket and I think it should handle 2 bar without problem if I stoped racing with motorcycle hehe. I was running at 9000rpm without water in the engine after the hose came loose and it just exploded water everywhere hehe.

About waterpump and radiator is no problem eather, I checked temperature all the time and it was allways stabil at between 87-92 at warm summer day at 2bar boost

The think is I could save this engine if I changed the gasket but I had no energi or time to do it and I just keeped on driving with broken gasket and just waiting for engine kill. I have some new plans and thats why i did not care about this engine this time

By the way I have copper gasket and several layer gasket to both m103 and m104 and m103 3,6 but I think that stock gasket works as well.
Cyl stainless O-rings and stock gasket I will use with my other race egine m103 with cp pistons and pauter rods.

Most impotent for me now that I know now that I can handle 700Hp with stock engine so now I can do someother things in my new projects

M103 POWER!

I just must finish the album and then I can fix the car

Thanks man!

Of curse I beat 1000cc suzuki and it was not a last time I did it
It takes more then 2 week becaurse it takes more time to finish the album.
The album was suffering becaurse of my car last 2 years.
Otherwise it takes 1 day to change the engine

But the target of the next season is to break the limit of 800Hp becaurse I am pretty sure I had over 700hp last 2 weeks after the dyno with 2bar of boost

hehe, 700hp...but hmm did it feeld like it had 700hp? I mean acceleration, 0-100kmh? with drag slick it should do it like 3 seconds flat and low 10-ns .@ 1/4mile
No offence, but it seemd kind a weak @ videos.
Still, big respect, for exploring the unknown merc potential

yes it was like day and night between 1,5bar untuned and tuned at 2bar so it realy feeled like 700Hp becaurse when I did DYNO I boost 1,5bar untuned and got 650Hp
On the film I driving about 1,2-1,3bar 1 week before DYNO
After the dyno I boost and tuned for 2 bar what I was driving for about 2-3 weeks before I lost water hose and blowed headgasket.

Yes you have right that 700Hp should be enough to make low 10-ns
The 190 v8 twinturbo who came on other place after me at DYNO with 612Hp made 10.26 last week BUT with a slicks of caurse.

I stil have normal wheels 235/35/19 what makes impossible for me to accelerate 100%. If I accelerate 100% at 4th gear then it is spinning at 180km/h pretty easy so I dont think it is weak

Hi!

here is a pic of 3 layers steel gasket for m104 C36 wich is 3,5 thick and gives 8,8 compression and this kind of gasket for M104 300e wich is gives 8,5 compression.

M103 stock gasket works very well with stock compression 9,2 and you can easy make allmost 1,5-1,7 bar with alcohol and 1,2-1,3 with gas and lower ignition. We did it many times now and never blowed the gasket.

This time I blowed the gasket only becaurse I was boosting 2 bar without water in my engine and 140 C degree in the engine hehe becaurse I did not want to loose race with motorcycle
I had 34 degree ignition at 2bar wich is pretty high too

By the way its very intressting how much ignition can make. When I was doing DYNO I got 636Hp first try at 28 degree at 1,5 bar and then I increse 4 degree up to 32 degree and got 14Hp more 650Hp
