nice, this FIRST HAND info!

I would weigh my m119, but I dont have such a big scale anywhere in the neighbourhood.....

rough guess: 661-169=492 for a M117 complete, without trans, and dry

Add 30 LBs for the 4-valve heads of the m119:

about 520 for a M119, roughly estimated

Anyone (dis)agree?

And put on a new timing chain in the m120 John. Have seen some of them m120 cars on sale, with broken timing chains: $$$$$$$$$$$$

but probably you know this already!

I know nothing about an M-120 it was 2 years after my time at MB. All I know is they sound cool especially with open exhaust. I currently consider getting the engine in the hole to be the easy part. Getting it to run right with all those computers that talk to each other like a gang of high school girls will be the real challange.

Incidently I got the scale on e-bay $200. See the link
