@RBYCC: The ERL MF2 uses the supplied GM map sensor that came with the kit and firing the additional injectors. Boost gauge installed and 7psi obtained even before 3000rpm. Ignition and KE-jet untouched. I've seen all of those pictures before Used your pictures as an installing guide for the breather system.
Installed panel filter from Pipercross which is supposed to be the best you can get. Just as thin as the K&N filter, which increases the air flow in front of the filter. I'm also on to updating the hoses from the air filter box to the turbos for increased flow, but I will leave the 2.25" intake rubber hose as it is.
Thinking of somewhat mounting a heavy duty radial fan onto the dividing plastic part for the aftercooler to provide even more fresh and dense air to the aftercooler and air box, routing the intake air for the fan from behind the grille. Maybe some other solution, but atleast something better than the tiny slots in the bumper Wouldn't want to see the changes from the outside.

Basically, I think my setup is correct now, only problem seems to be the tranny, and I'll also have a look at the fuel line routing. Maybe I have to check the kickdown relay or the modulator for any errors. If you describe how/which vacuum lines that were re-routed it would be greatly appreciated. Only thing I did was to tee together both fpr's, boost gauge and map-sensor onto the plenum chamber. All the other vacuum lines remained untouched. Regarding the convoluted output hose of the breather system, did you route it to the back of the air box? I routed it to the front piece and fitted the supplied the 90deg plastic fitting into the big hole, and the air temperature sensor into the smaller hole...

@hookedon210s: I was thinking of the same thing! Maybe that is not such a bad idea, I'll have a chat with a transmission specialist about that. I recogn reading something about these using different modulators somewhere

Got in touch with JayRash and he told me to try out the setup on the picture below. It seems logic as the modulator on these transmissions were not designed to operate under pressure. I made the orifice today, and so I will purchase a washerfluid check valve. In my opinion it would possibly make more sense to install a second check valve the opposite way instead of the orifice, but this might be a bit more scientific than I know of I will try both including adjustment on the modulator adjustment screw. Isnīt this really a mod everyone should do when turbo converting a naturally aspired engine? This setup should provide smoother shifting and eliminating the risk of damaging the transmission modulators diaphragm, causing incorrect operation and oil to leak out........

@RBYCC: I had connected the fuel pressure regulators correctly as you described, I thought for some reason the fuel would go in the front and the return line would be on the back side of the distributor, but I figured out the fuel flows the opposite way, so at least that is not the problem. I recogn the problem to be that the engine doesn't get enough fuel when it reaches 5500-6000rpm, and thereby it loses all the power. I noticed a rising AFR up to 15:1 at 5500-6000rpm. The ERL MF2 is turned up to max, so the problem is something in the fuel supply system.

I could start the car, stop it, and immidiately after that I would losen the fuel supply line. No pressure there what so ever. Just dripping a little bit of fuel out...It has to be a broken check valve, a leak or a damaged accumulator, I can't see any other options in the fuel system. This in conjunction with maybe a patially blocked old fuel filter and/or a broken fpr smells like the recipe for trouble to me. Any ideas?

I think there has been something wrong with the fuel system for a long time actually. When the car stands just a short amount of time, it would stall a little bit the first seconds after I start it. seems like it needs to build up the fuelpressure every time.

I read it as your problem is downstream of fuel distributor?

No pressure retention could be the accumulator.
Have you tested your fuel delivery flow?
This test would indicate if your pumps , filter and regulator could be problematic.

Hi all, I've edited the first post of this thread to include an owner's registry.
So far I have details of 14 cars.
If you know of any additional cars or have information missing from the 14 I know about, please post it here and I will keep going back to edit the 1st post. Thanks!

Great idea...

Today I installed a Hallman Pro RX manual boost controller...
Suggest anyone with any twin turbo M103 or M104 consider the installation.
Inexpensive about $100.00 and takes about two hours..
Most of my time was spent getting my rigid intake hoses back on.

Even without using it to increase boost it increases the overall performance and allows the turbos to spool up faster.

In essence it synchronizes both turbos as it only uses the boost port from one turbo ( other turbo boost port capped off ) to open the wastegates of both turbos at the same time.

Will post some pix on a new thread and try to get some dyno time in the next week or two with about 9psi boost ?

One for sale in the UK but in LHD:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330316267008&_trksid=p2759.l1259

I emailed John Pearson about the registry and he is going to attempt to scrape together whatever data he can to help.

Right, well ive just bought a silver 1995 E320-24v which was converted by Turbo Technics themselves back in the day.

Ive also just built a twin turbo 2.6 190E using a new 12v Turbo Technics kit.

And we have got another brand new complete 12v kit all boxed up still awaiting fitment. This kit was the very last 12v kit that Hughes had left.

Thanks! I've added this to the registry. If you want to fill in any of the blanks just post it here.
