00´ E55 m113 NA vs. SC

Hey,
the e55 from the year 2000 has a 265kw (350hp) engine in it, but the newer ones have the same engine with supercharger and they have 500hp.
My question is, are the engine internals the same? Can I add the same SC to my N/A e55 with all other parts (ecu, etc) or I allso need new pistons, rods to make the bottom as strong as the newer one?
Any help needed

Thanks,

Allar

OK, thats a start, N/A has 10.5 :1 and SC has 9.0:1 comp.ratio....
But what about pistons? how different are they? And rods?
and heads & cams, are the SC ones ported or same as N/A? Cams?

Thanks....

A friend and shop owner is looking into all the details for a project he's considering....he's comparing EVERYTHING down to parts numbers, specs, etc. in both engines and tells me there are significant differences.

When he fills me in on more details, I'll pass his advice along.
