I heard a rumor today, that there could be different connecting rods in this engine. Person who had changed the rods is dead, so it is a mystery till next opening.

has anybody in finland killed a om603 motor? How are the 500hp and 400hp cars driving?

Yes, there are total kill of 603 happened even whith stock turbo . And too much revs kills stock rods quikly.

Wow! What happened to kill a 603 with a stock turbo? How much power was it making with the stock turbo? I thought it couldn't do much more than about 200hp or so?
