Time for new shocks on my 210...
Guys, I've come to the conclusion that my shocks are shot. The car is fine at lower speeds but gets really "floaty" at higher speeds. Also, the wheels are making a washboard out of the driveway from wheel hop.
Ultimately, I'm looking for AMG style performance through suspension up grades so I reckon I'll start with the shocks. Does AMG make their own brand of shocks? How about Bilsteins? What models would be good? I'm looking for a firmer ride (something between the Corvette's buckboard feel and the current float) but not too rough. What are your thoughts? Thanks!

Ditto to wis for the 210 application. I am very pleased with the H&R's and Bilstein Sports on my wagon (front only for the shocks of course). Mark

Hey, yeah, I was too cheap to buy Bils for the truck so I got Rancho RSX with velocity sensitive valving. I think they're actually great shocks. It's a shame they don't make them for MB... Yee haw!
