drove one here in lebanon but with the 3.0-24 with a dogleg box, stunning car, bet urs is just as much, i love the 190 car, one of the best looking and handling cars made by merc, too bad the dash is slightly less quality than w124 though

You do what you can with a smaller car when it comes to the dash... though I have always found it odd that they decided to make cold air always come out the middle vents.

How about some details as far as the actual conversion-

Fabrication?

Wiring?

Did you retain cruise, ABS, etc?

Mounts?

Who did the work?

To make the wiring harness, sometimes each wire had to be spliced up to 8 times.

Cruise control was not retained...

The m104 was a direct bolt in along with the tranny (722.4) from the same car the m104 came from.

My mechanic in the valley did the conversion. He can make anything lol.

If you don't mind telling us- cost?

Do you mean 722.3?

Obviously I think this engine should have been put in the 126 chassis....

So you used the 190's harness or modified that of the M104 car? Or did you make your own?

Nice Job

I certainly know the feeling twice over with the wiring.

Based on what my E320 made on the dyno. He is making near 180whp on a dynojet. Since it was an 8v before the start of the project, it shouldn't have an LSD.
